Center for Newcomers (CFN) It is a non-profit organization based in Calgary, operating since 1988, dedicated to supporting newcomers to Canada in settling in, learning the language, finding employment, and integrating into the community.
Key services include:
- Learn English: LINC classes and language skill development support for newcomers.
- Settlement support: guidance on the initial steps to starting life in Canada, connecting you to appropriate support resources and services.
- Job search and career development: Job Search Centre, providing support in finding jobs, preparing resumes, and connecting with the job market.
- Programs for youth and families: CFN offers services for youth and various programs to support newcomer families.
